a historical biennale tour

Don't get me wrong, i think the biennale is great considering the amount of affords vs the amount of time. yet i am not necessary convince it was placed in a right space. sure the old police station and prision added another layer of context to the whole festival/biennale, yet i ask myself rather it really appropiates wat the biennale should/want to express. Having works placed in individual cells of old prisions, and with space of such strong historical and iconical identity, i wonder if all together give the correct impact to audiences, including myself. I wonder if such form and contents together deliever an appropriate story of urbanism and of architecture.

and besides. i am really not a big fan of historical site.. i do find it interesting and all, but it goes against my believe to adores the olds. :P
